This print is predominantly black-and-white, apart from two sepia-coloured sections at the top and at the bottom-left. The images depicted are derived overwhelmingly from the Indian sub-continent: there is a woman in traditional dress together with various decorative patterns and border, including the motif known as Paisley Pattern. Somewhat disconcertingly, a woman's eyes stare out from the centre of the image, the left eye appearing in duplicate, almost like frames from a movie. The Edinburgh section of the print's title is represented in the sepia-toned areas, by the text referring to the Festival, where the names of some of the days of the week and the word "Senses" also appear.

This print, made in 1984, is one of a series which recount the artist's feelings towards, and experiences of, life in Edinburgh during the annual International Festival. As with much of her other work, this print demonstrates the artist's philosophy that "nothing disappears without a trace. Life's experiences are embedded within us like special recordings of time."
